Ex-pat residents of Morocco encounter a hurdle when applying for Moroccan residency if they have lived or were born overseas in that the authorities will require an Identity History Summary from the USA or it's equivalent from other jurisdictions
If you are resident in Morocco for more than 90 days it is necessary to register with the Police and to apply for a Moroccan Residence Permit (Certificat d'Immatriculation ) at the Bureau des Etrangers of the Préfecture de Police or Commissariat Central
You will require supportive documents including a Medical Certificate, Financial Statements and a Criminal Record Check from your country of origin ( a full list of those countries requiring fingerprints can be seen here )
