A Fingerprint Check is needed to obtain a Certificate of Clearance (COC) is issued by the Criminal Investigation Department to certify that a person has no criminal conviction within a stipulated period of time of residence in Singapore
Non-Singapore Citizens (Singapore Permanent Residents and Foreign Passport Holders seeking a COC may apply for a statutory declaration (SD) through the Commissioners of Oath or qualified legal practitioners
With effect from 21 June 2016, Singapore Citizens who are overseas may apply for a COC online
If you are applying for the COC from the Uk or Europe, you can have your fingerprint impressions taken by us, either at your own location or at one of our offices
What must the applicant provide?
Applicants outside Singapore must supply:
Full set of authenticated Fingerprints
Photocopy of valid passport and pages
Completed application form
Two recent passport-sized photographs
Photocopy of document from relevant prospective employer stating the requirement for CNCC (must be translated into English)
Fingerprint forms are different for male and female applicants and we carry both in stock
